Life Center of Hillsville Location & Directions

Our facility in Hillsville, Virginia, features a tastefully landscaped 100-acre campus and a 1-mile walking trail. Our programming spaces are also comfortable and supportive environments for patients to work toward their therapeutic goals. In our clinically managed residential program, we provide 24-hour care in a safe and stable environment, which can allow patients to develop the skills they need for lasting recovery.

At our facility, each person can benefit from the input of our qualified and attentive staff. Our Hillsville team is multidisciplinary and includes doctors, nurses, and counseling staff. When you participate in our residential program, you will work with a dedicated treatment team, which will monitor your progress and adjust your individualized care plan if necessary. Similarly, in our PHP, patients also follow an individualized care plan and have regular access to members of their treatment team.

At Life Center of Hillsville, we understand that each person who struggles with an addiction faces unique challenges on the road to long-term recovery. Our goal is to provide focused support in an encouraging atmosphere so that each person who receives care at our treatment center can feel empowered to live the life they deserve.

We are committed to providing the highest quality of care and services for everyone in our residential and partial hospitalization programs:

• Residential services — Our abstinence-based residential services can be ideal for men who are struggling with the use of substances like alcohol, marijuana, cocaine, and methamphetamine. Our residential program can also provide compassionate care and support for men who have co-occurring mental health concerns like bipolar disorder and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
• PHP services — Our premier PHP is designed to support men who have addictions to a broad range of substances, including opioids, alcohol, benzodiazepines, and cocaine. In our PHP, men live independently and participate in full-day programming multiple days a week while working alongside a dedicated treatment team. Our PHP services also include medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for patients who are struggling with opioid addictions.

In both our residential program and our PHP, patients can participate in a wide variety of therapies and services that can help them address their needs and achieve maximum benefit from their time with us. The treatment elements that are available at our Hillsville location include individual, family, and group therapy sessions as well as experiential activities like physical recreation. We also offer basic medical care for those who need it. At our facility, we provide medication management services for men in our residential program, while in our PHP, patients self-administer medications unless medication is needed during programming hours. It’s important to note, however, that there are no controlled substances at our Hillsville location.

To support each person on their unique path to better health, our facility also offers multiple treatment modalities. At our treatment center, a person’s care plan may incorporate approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), 12-Step meetings, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention techniques, healthy living and emotional wellness support, and experiential art therapy.
